What is popularity and how do I earn it?
Popularity is your status score: it grows when players send you gifts and when players start new chats with you, and it has its own all-time leaderboard.

Popularity is the currency of being loved. You cannot spend it anywhere — it exists purely to show the world how adored you are.
How popularity flows in
Receiving gifts — every gift another player sends you grants popularity. The fancier the gift, the more you get (and yes, even the poop gift counts — affection comes in many forms).
New chats — when a player starts a brand-new chat with you, you can earn a little popularity too. Being someone people want to talk to pays off.
Popularity has its own all-time leaderboard that never resets — open the leaderboard screen and switch to the Popularity tab to see where you stand.
One catch worth knowing: if a player who sent you a gift later deletes their account, the popularity that gift gave you is taken back again. It keeps the leaderboard honest — no pumping up a friend and then vanishing.
Want to spread the love yourself? Sending gifts unlocks once you reach 70 Trophies, and every gift you send makes someone else more popular.
Pro tip: be a fun rival. Great matches and friendly chats are what get players sending gifts your way — popularity follows personality.
