Gifts are how you say "well played", "thanks for the match" — or how you lovingly annoy a friend. Sending gifts unlocks at 70 Trophies, and once unlocked it stays unlocked, even if your Trophies later drop.
Sending a gift
Open a player profile and pick a gift from the catalog. Every gift costs coins or gems, and the recipient earns popularity.
The catalog has a bit of everything — for example (the exact prices are always shown in the game):
Coffee — around 30 coins, 1 popularity point. Small but heartwarming.
Flower — around 100 gems, 10 popularity points.
Teddy bear — around 300 gems, 30 popularity points.
Diamond ring — around 1,000 gems and a whole 100 popularity points. A statement.
And yes, there is also a poop. We do not judge.
The gift shows up as a message in your chat, and the recipient gets a notification. Every player also has a gift history — so that poop stays on the record.
What is popularity?
Popularity is the community love meter — and it has its own global leaderboard on the rankings screen.
Besides gifts, you can also earn some popularity when a player opens a chat with you for the very first time.
Sending a gift to yourself is impossible — we tried so you do not have to. You will simply have to be nice to someone else.
