How does the Time Cut event work?
In Time Cut, both players answer at the same time and every newly accepted correct answer shortens their shared clock. The timer shows how much time was removed.

Time Cut is similar to Timed Score: you and your opponent answer the same question at the same time, build your own streaks and compete for the highest score. The difference is that correct answers also shorten the clock you both share.
How the clock changes
Every newly accepted correct answer shortens the shared clock.
It does not matter who found the answer — both players affect the same clock.
A successful Joker counts as a correct answer and shortens the clock too.
When time is removed, the timer shows TIME CUT! and the amount that was removed.
A wrong answer or one that was already found does not shorten the clock.
Scoring and winning
Correct answers award points and build your personal streak multiplier, just as they do in Timed Score.
A wrong answer resets your streak, but the points you already earned remain.
When the shared clock ends, the player with the higher score wins the round. Equal scores end in a draw.
If every answer is found
When the reserve-question rule is enabled for the event and a suitable question is available, both players move to one reserve question in the same round. The shared clock pauses during the reveal and continues with exactly the time that remained.
A correct answer increases your score and leaves both players less time for the rest of the round.
