How does the Changing Question event work?
Every two unique correct answers shared between both players replace the question without stopping the clock. Keep your score and streak, adapt quickly, and finish the round ahead.
Updated July 13, 2026
In Changing Question, every pair of correct answers moves both players to a fresh question. The clock never waits, so every switch starts a new sprint inside the same round.
How a match works
A match has 3 rounds.
You and your opponent answer the same question simultaneously on one shared round clock (currently 30 seconds).
After 2 unique correct answers in total between both players, the question changes immediately for both of you. The timer does not pause or restart.
The higher score wins the round; equal scores are a draw. A 2-round lead ends the match early.
Scoring and streaks
A correct answer currently starts at 20 points. Consecutive correct answers grow your personal streak multiplier by +0.1, so they are worth 20, then 22, then 24, and so on.
Your score and streak continue across question changes.
A wrong answer resets only your streak. Points already earned stay in your score.
An answer already found on the current question scores 0, does not advance the shared counter, and does not break your streak.
What counts toward a question change?
The two-answer counter is shared: it can be one answer from each player or two from the same player.
Only a unique correct answer for the question currently on screen counts. Late answers from an older question are ignored.
A correct answer revealed by Joker scores normally and counts toward the next change.
The counter starts fresh after every question change.
Power-ups
Joker — currently available for two free uses.
Change Question — disabled; questions change automatically after two correct answers.
Time Extend — disabled; the shared deadline never changes.
Tips
Protect your streak: it survives every question switch and becomes more valuable as the round continues.
Watch for a switch after the first correct answer. A half-typed answer for the old question will no longer count once the second answer lands.
Use Joker when you are stuck — it earns points and also pushes the shared counter forward.
The clock stays the same, but the puzzle keeps moving. Fast adaptation wins this event.
