How do I change my name, Bio, photo and avatar frame?

TL;DR

Change your display name, write a short Bio, upload and crop a profile photo, or choose an avatar frame. Saved profile changes refresh right away.

Your display name

You can change your name for free at any time under Settings → Edit Profile. A display name must be 2 to 25 characters long.

Your Bio

Under Settings → Edit Profile, you can write a short Bio of up to 80 characters and 2 lines. Save an empty Bio if you want to remove it.

The Bio appears on your player profile, so other players can read it. Links, contact details and offensive or inappropriate content are not allowed. Players who have blocked each other do not see one another's Bio.

Your profile photo

You can upload your own photo — currently up to 3 uploads per day — or use the photo from your linked Facebook or Apple account.

  1. Open Settings → Edit Profile and tap the profile-image upload button.

  2. Choose an image from your phone's photo picker.

  3. Move and zoom the image inside the square crop, then confirm the preview.

After confirmation, the screen shows Preparing image…, Uploading image… and Checking image…. Your existing profile image stays visible until the new one passes the safety check.

If another upload is already active, you can wait for it to finish or replace the upload with the new image. If an upload was interrupted, return to Edit Profile; the game checks the upload and shows the latest available update.

On Android, if the game restarts while the system photo picker is open, a prompt may appear on the Home screen. Tap Yes to return to Edit Profile and continue with the image you selected.

Every upload goes through an automatic safety check before it appears. A rejected upload still counts toward the daily limit.

After you save a name, avatar or frame, the change appears right away on profile screens.

After the photo is active, tap it on a player profile to open a larger zoomable view.

Avatar frames

You can get avatar frames in three ways:

  • Buy them with gems in the store.

  • Claim them as rewards on the progress track as you earn more Trophies.

  • VIP subscribers receive the exclusive Gold frame through the VIP daily reward track.
