Friendly matches: pure bragging rights
A friendly match awards nothing and changes no stats — it exists purely to settle who's smarter. The coin and energy entry is still charged, though.

Want to settle once and for all who's smarter — without risking your trophies? Invite a friend to a friendly match.
What's different in a friendly
No rewards at all: no coins, no trophies, no event trophies — for either player.
Completely stats-neutral: wins and losses are not counted on your profile.
The match still shows up in your recent games, marked as a friendly.
No trophy entry fee — your trophy count is untouched either way.
The one catch
The room's coin and energy entry is still charged for both players, and nobody wins it back. A draw refunds the coins — the only outcome where the bank blinks first.
In other words: a friendly is the price of bragging rights. Worth every coin.
Pro tip: friendlies are a great way to feel out a tougher room's pace without putting your trophies on the line.
